DRAPCE invites parents, grandparents and caregivers to an enlightening and entertaining workshop titled, ‘Drawing Families Together: One Meal at a Time!’ Spending time ‘doing’ as a family can sometimes get in the way of ‘being’ a family. We rush from one activity or commitment to the other and sometimes feel like strangers to each other when we have time to sit and breathe.
This presentation will assist families in using that most important time, a shared meal, as a quality time to connect as a family and to share faith. Whether you can manage eating together one night or seven nights a week, Family Table Time can help strengthen your family bonds, build your child’s self-esteem and most importantly, increase faith, communication, collaboration and cooperation within your family.
Our presenter is Teresa Hartnett M.R.E. (Director of Family Ministry). Join us on Wednesday, May 31st at St. Valentine School - 5610 Heatherleigh Ave, Mississauga beginning at 7 P.M. All are welcome!

St. Ignatius' Prayer for Generosity
In the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit.
Lord, teach me to be generous.
Teach me to serve you as you deserve;
to give and not to count the cost,
to fight and not to heed the wounds,
to toil and not to seek for rest,
to labour and not to ask for reward,
except for that of knowing that I do your will.
Saints: Bernard, Edmund, Ignatius, Julia, Margaret, Thomas More, Ursula and Veronica - Pray for Us
