Peel Police Presentation on Human Trafficking March 1st at Father Goetz SS

An Invitation from the Catholic School Trustee Bruno Iannicca:

Trustee Bruno Iannicca invites all to the Peel Police Presentation on Human Trafficking.  This presentation is to be held on Thursday, March 1, 2018 from 7 pm - 9 pm at Father Michael Goetz SS 330 Central Parkway West, Mississauga.

Please see the below from Trustee Iannicca:

Dear Parents and Guardians:

During my 26 years as a Catholic school trustee, I have shared a lot of important information with parents and guardians through Catholic School Councils and school administrators. I would like to share some additional information that I believe is extremely timely and relevant by inviting you to a Peel Regional Police presentation on Child Pornography and Human Trafficking. These issues are taking place in our community and they could affect your children.

As a parent, it is important to be aware of these issues and also to be mindful of any signs that could be indicators that something is “not right” with your child. I have attended a number of these presentations in the past and can attest that Peel Regional Police are OUTSTANDING in explaining what, and how things occur and how they can progress.

What I most noticed in attending these school-based presentations was the presence of our students, your children. The missing piece is you, our parents and guardians. You need to be aware of what is happening in our community and I can assure you that this presentation will open your eyes as it did mine.

The details are as follows:

Date:                     Thursday March 1, 2018

Location:              Father Michael Goetz Catholic Secondary School, 330 Central Parkway West, Mississauga

Time:                     7:00-9:00

Please be on time as I will begin promptly at 7:00 pm and there is a lot of information to go through. I would also like time for audience questions for the Peel Regional Police officers.

Thank You & God Bless
